Or it is two teams going up against really strong defenses where getting overly risky leads to a turnover.

Assume that is their CFP ranking because they are in the Others receiving votes part of the AP poll.

And then Franklin goes for it on 4th and 6 inside their own 30 with plenty of time on the clock. Not great coaching decisions.
 

PSU...9 posessions...4-3 and out, 1-4 and out on loss of downs. Franklin relying on Tressel/Fleck ball control to limit Mich posessions not very effective playing from behind.
Example...PSU 3rd and 2 from around midfield. MI with 9 in thebox. Whats PSU do??? RUTM.
 





Nebraska/Maryland is a turnover fest. Five interceptions, three lost fumbles, and another three turnovers on downs.
