Wow! Admittedly a long time ago in the 1970's, but I remember going to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina on a bus and seeing two billboards that stated, "This Is Ku Klux Clan Country!" The last one was within 10 miles of the base.

Good luck to them. Unfortunately, the rioting has ceded the moral high ground that the video of Floyd's murder created. Now, people have latched onto "marxist" as a way of minimizing or avoiding the racial issues those black football players have and are facing. Let's them crawl out into the sunlight again as a previous post shows.

I took this as booing the opposing team as they were running on to the field, havent been to a football game since last year but pretty sure that happens at most games. Im sure there were more than a handful of people booing extra loud since Houston was not out there for the national anthem to however. Seemed to me that he booing just bleed into the line of unity or whatever it was since they ran straight there from the tunnel. Read into it what you will though.

As for the topic of this thread (which to me seems like a week troll attempt), couldn't care less what Wake Forest does or doesn't have on their helmets.

Wasn’t the entire point of sitting:kneeling to draw a reaction? Why do it if it isn’t controversial of offensive? Similar to closing freeways. The key to people’s hearts and minds is insulting their personal belief system, and restricting their movement and commerce.

Definitely not fresh out of the tunnel as i had recalled, On field mics were definitely cranked (static increase at around the :25 second mark) up followed by some one yelling" Kansas City Chiefs" followed by chorus of "CHIEEEEEFS" (not exactly a moment of silence however)..... loud cheers (for a 20% capacaity) at the end ..

The video floating around twitter seems selectively edited to sounds like boos, giving some a chance to show how awful the 'right' is and the louder ones on the right a chance to say "Good! boo them!" Cant stop looking for things to get upset about i guess.

While I'm a bit weary of all the politics infiltrating sports, let's not forget that the Gophers alone have promoted the following things with helmet stickers in recent years (excluding memorials for the dead or official school mottos):

• Epilepsy Awareness
• Coach Kill (+Tacklin' the Tough Times and Chasing Dreams)
• Veterans Day
• Row the Boat
• Gold Standard
• Oars
• Compass Rose

I'm probably forgetting a few. This is pretty normal for a lot of schools. It's not like they made the Demon Deacon into George Floyd.

I only saw a clip, I didn't see it live, but that does not seem to be the case.

No one has latched onto “marxists”. The founders of the BLM organization are “Marxists” and have admitted as such. This is common knowledge. Calling them what they admit to being isn’t an attempt at avoidance.
