Vaughn IS NOT going to ISU! UNLV is the winning bidder!

So if the Gophers ever land an out of state 5 star player should we all immediately turn on our program for being dirty? Even more so than UNLV who at least has a tradition in basketball in the last 25 years/

They also have an even deeper tradition of cheating for much longer than those 25 years.

On another note, why is there such disdain for ISU on this board? I thought Hoiberg was still liked and respected around these parts. While I am not a fan of ISU per se, I want Hoiberg to succeed. Maybe I am alone but ever since Vaughn eliminated us I wanted him to end up at ISU.

I think a lot of it is just because their fans have come and trolled our board pretty hard a few times. Even though it's only a few isolated fans who are probably big losers and not representative of the ISU fan base, I think it causes a lot of people here to root against them

Personally, I have a cousin at ISU so a part of me is really happy when they win a big game - I remember how great it felt as a student to get a huge Gopher win while sitting in the student section.

Quite a bit different when a kid comes and sits behind your bench after he's publicly stated an announcement date for later that week and invites the public.

...and then excludes the public when they show up. Yes, it was the extenuating circumstances.

Completely. Reid picking Stanford I could understand. He treated the last week of his recruitment in a classless manner in my opinion. Again, you'll notice that few people went after Tyus. And the schadenfreude regarding ISU is because of the behavior of certain ISU fans on this board.
