U RELEASE: No Change in Mbakwe Playing Status According to Maturi, Smith

Glad this is hopefully over, more importantly for Trevor and his family. Hopefully, the ex-gf can move on with her life, also.

Tubby - rather than not starting Trevor to teach him a lesson, make him play the whole game. He will be exhausted.

I think he would be getting away too lightly with this as he might just coast, rather:

38 minutes
13 def. rebounds
7 off. rebounds
12 pts.
3 blocks
No contact fouls &
a chest bump with AD after the win.

All this because he is an integral part of the team, if he was not...I would have done something else with those three hours of my life rather than press refresh on Gopherhole.

His Twitter account is no longer up (says the account has been suspended). Probably a smart move.

His Facebook account is no longer active either. He deactivated that before the press release even came out. I absolutely think it's a smart move. If he's anything like me, it must be difficult to not respond. Better to not have the temptation.

I kind of doubt that he made the "choice" to disable his social networking without some uh, help, from Tubby or Maturi. Not that it really matters, I guess.

Yeah, GL, I appreciate your "bright siding," but I've seen enough from TM to think I doubt he had the brains to do that on his own. Good rebounder though.

Sounds like you know Mbakwe pretty well. That's cool.

I didn't claim to know him, so I'm not sure what that meant.

I do know quite a bit about his public history going back to his sophomore year in high school. It's been a wide and varied path with more than one speed bump along the way. The last thing that I saw on this path were a bunch of irresponsible Twitter postings about 12 hours after he left jail.

Don't misread this. I think that he probably meant no harm in his FB post. I also think he still should be on the team. And I'm damn glad he is. He is a fun player to watch.
