Don't know too much about Forte or if we should add him or not, but really the only thing I'm concerned about with trying to add guys like this late now is Pitino just better make sure there is gonna be 3 or 4 scholarships open for that 2014 class.

I like the activity. Interest from Buckles, Forte and Smith amd discussions with the Big 3 in Pitino's first week on the job and he doesn't have a staff yet. He's a busy man. This is more action than we have seen around here for a while.

Same. And Pitino is already getting involved with some national press stuff is a big change, and I'm for it.

My apologies folks! He only has an offer and is down to a handful of schools! Thanks to those on the other thread for finding out about Forte.

Again, hope you guys aren't too upset! Just a mistake, and if you have any ideas or directions on how to delete the thread or change the title to steer gopherholers clear of the thread, please tell.

It is official per his word, as he said Pitino carried his offer over to the University of Minnesota. Marcus Fuller and Amelia Rayno have confirmed it seems.

That just means he has an offer. He hasn't decided what school he is going to yet. Read his twitter right now, he's visiting Georgia this weekend.
 

@ChrisDokish: Juco Cameron Forte, 6'6" SF, down to Pitt, Georgia, Ole Miss, Long Beach St., and Colorado State. Three years eligibility. 23 ppg this year.

Sorry if that's how you're feeling! No harm intended, but I just found out and thought you guys maybe didn't know since their wasn't a thread about him specifically transferring to the U.

Sorry for jumping too quick to the trigger, and while I love reading all the interesting threads, I'll have to be a little more thorough in searching to make sure you guys don't already know before sharing the news!

Either way, let's just be Happy about our newcomers! He has a lot to contribute it seems. :)

Very, Very Sorry Guys! I did misread and he only has an offer. Do you know how I can delete the thread since its false info?

Like I said, apologies to all who got tricked by my thread!
 



I don't know much about him but since he has three years of eligibility left, it would be good in the sense it would help balance the classes.
