Rumor has it.........

He's going to watch Minnesota

Did the same thing with Notre Dame and OSU. He's watching one of his options in a road game. Hope this helps.

From the Rivals regional guy who talked to Seantrel:

====================================================
He isn't going to travel to Iowa City to watch Minnesota. From talking to him, he wants to consider his options, look at schools, learn from it. He isn't going to waste a weekend visiting one school just to see a team that plays 10 miles from where he lives.

Just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

If he attends Iowa, I'm moving to Vegas to drink myself to death. :)

I love how you goofers are going to the basketball smack early.

You really have no hope for Saturday, do ya? :D

Then I guess after Saturday, we won't be seeing you again for quite awhile huh?

I'm sure "Ladky" is right. I'm sure it is purely coincidental that he saw USC playing in his only two officials so far (to Notre Dame and Ohio State). Or that his third official is to USC.

To me, this is evidence he may be down to USC and Minnesota.

If I get to tag Elizabeth Shue, I'll play the role myself, thank you very much.

elisabeth shue from "the karate kid" or elisabeth shue from "the saint"?

not sure why, but i am a bit partial to the "older" elisabeth shue. perhaps it has something to do with my various m.i.l.f. fantasies, which are currently being made into low-budget porn flicks! ;)

If you make one with Lois feldman in it I'll buy it. I thought she was kinda milfy in a corn farmers wife sort of way. Although I imagine the camera work will be tricky in such a small space.

well, we keep plenty of vaseline on hand for the camera lense so i think we can make it work. after the metrodome bathroom incident she actually inquired about starring in one of our feature length films, but at the time we had still not put together a "coming of age, pig-farmer's wife finally finds her true-self in the des moines theatre scene" script. we are getting close.

being an OL school = hanging 55 on the gophers last year.

As soon as your coach and Minnesota fans come to an understanding that games are won on the OL and DL you will gain some respectability until then you will simply be a joke.

I didn't intend this to become nasty, but well.....you asked for it.

Big talk brewster, recruits flash........and loses

Understated Ferentz recruits guys who will win the war in the trenches.........and wins.

Two of our best Defensive linemen are from the state of Minnesota, one wasn't even recruited.

wait till after saterday then we can talk...

It's too bad for Iowa fans that his unofficial visit is going to come on a weekend when quite a few students will not be on campus as they'll have headed home to Chicago or Minneapolis for the Thanksgiving break. It's like finally getting the homecoming queen to go out on a date with you, but the only place you can afford to take her to dinner is either Denny's or the Happy Chef.

I'm sure a lot of the students from Iowa will be there though, as long as it's ok with paw that they attempt to shoot Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday or Monday instead.

I guarantee the Iowa student section is louder and has more students in it Saturday than the Minnesota section has had the last few games.

Yeah I get really tired of seeing Iowa win big ten/national championships. Oh that's right, Iowa fans just act like 8-4 is a championship season. Sucks to have nothing else I guess.

Minnesota WISHES they could talk about 8-4! You dream of 8-4.

I was born in 1971.....so lets go back to that point.

In the last 38 years you have 2, only 2 years that you have finished at 8-4 or better. So, don't give me any crap about national championships. No one can remember yours. Yes they certainly count but in today's world it is what have you done for me lately............and in the last 38 the gophers have have exactly two seasons equal or better than 8-4. So..........figure it out.

That sure is a lot of numbers...but I know of a more important one:

6-0.

"Minnesota WISHES they could talk about 8-4! You dream of 8-4.

.".....and so on and so on.

Boy that was a LOT of work!!!!!!!!!!:clap::clap:

Wow, but we DO all know that and not surprisingly, we're not happy about it?

None of it of course changes the fact that the Gophers DO have those National Championships and those ARE pretty important. Ask Dan Gable, he talks about Iowa Championships a lot and he never seems to denigrate the "old" ones when talking about Iowa's achievements!

But again, thanks for all the hard work pointing out the obvious while completely missing the point!:drink::horse:

If you make one with Lois feldman in it I'll buy it. I thought she was kinda milfy in a corn farmers wife sort of way. Although I imagine the camera work will be tricky in such a small space.

Now if you are talking Marty Feldman...count me in!

So what you are saying then...Porky's was filmed in IA? right

I am pretty pumped that Seantrel is thinking of the gophers that much to go to watch them this weekend. This is perfect for us...After MarQueis runs for 100yds, 2 scores and throws another and we pull the shocking upset and carry floyd home, he will see firsthand what it could be like to be a gopher, and see who he wants to block for next year. (MQG)

I wont be there on saturday, but please someone start the "Lo-is Feld-man clap, clap clapclapclap" chant

Seantrell is not going to Iowa, this visit was set up through Alt's father in hopes of getting Iowa to look at his son with the bonus of getting SH down to Iowa for a game. The kids care much more about visiting with Eubanks and Binns than seeing Iowa.

While Alt is a nice high school quarterback, he is not a BCS caliber qb and the best he could hope for is a walk on opportunity and unless he really loves football more than hockey, he would be making a HUGE long term mistake. He actually has pro potential in hockey and most likely will be a second round pick. Hopefully dad's dislike of the U won't cost his son a huge opportunity.

I thought Alt had committed to the U for hockey?
