Just to clarify - I hope Pitino does well at the U.  I would be very happy to see the U contending for a B!G title, and making a real run in the tournament.  
I was just expressing an honest opinion, that to my ears, Pitino came off as a little too over the top.  He and Teague also sounded a little like politicians, in that they "answered" some questions without really answering them.  
That doesn't mean he's a bad person.  I just thought it sounded like he was trying a little too hard.  If Pitino would have said, "I'm really excited about the challenge of helping make this program one of the best in the country," I would have had no problem.  
As Wren/the Walrus would say, it will all come down to BIG 10 WINS!
