Yes. Trust me, I guarantee you both Kill and the Kid got some serious prepping on good ol' senile Sid. I was laughing with the rest of the media members when Sid was asking his questions.. hahha
 

Sid helped immensely in making this a Major League city.

I still remember Brewster's press conference when he was hired when Sid started asking a question and Brew turned to someone next to him and asked, "is this Sid?"

Pretty much the only good memory from his coaching tenure.

Really?! HAHAH. I don't remember that, even though I remember the presser.
 


No one asked the most important question of all...

Will you keep a player in the game if he has 2 fouls in the 1st half?
 

Richard took Sid's curveball and hit a hard liner. He played it straight and respectfully but with a little humorous twist that made Sid look just a little smaller. I suspect that he's pretty much seen all forms of abuse from the press, particularly when his pop was in Boston. I'd be surprised if much fazes him. He seems fairly focused.
 


Just to clarify - I hope Pitino does well at the U. I would be very happy to see the U contending for a B!G title, and making a real run in the tournament.

I was just expressing an honest opinion, that to my ears, Pitino came off as a little too over the top. He and Teague also sounded a little like politicians, in that they "answered" some questions without really answering them.

That doesn't mean he's a bad person. I just thought it sounded like he was trying a little too hard. If Pitino would have said, "I'm really excited about the challenge of helping make this program one of the best in the country," I would have had no problem.

As Wren/the Walrus would say, it will all come down to BIG 10 WINS!

I just want to see us competitive in conference - and all the way to the tourney. Win it Hallelujah! But content would be awesome.

Just seeing Becky and Herky worry about us coming into THEIR house would be sweet. After NIT Iowa fans pretty much expect to contend next year the B1G title - both regular season and tourney. Love to see Pitinos team go in there and make for some real unhappy Hawkeys.
 

Are you trying to imply that Tubby isn't intelligent? I sincerely hope that wouldn't have anything to with the fact that he is black.
