Thanks for sharing this, as you saw, I tweeted it out too.

I also shared on Twitter that I just talked to one of my sources tonight, and up until today, that source (and I) had never been confident that there would be a good chance the Gophers would get Reid, but now there is. Obviously, anything could happen, but I good reason to believe he could be wearing the maroon and gold...:)
 



Reid Tweeted this about an hour ago: @Reid_Travis_22: I will be announcing my college choice 3:30 on Friday @ Delasalle for those that would like to come..

Reid gopher nation!!

We would all go into depression right now if goes somewhere else other than Minnesota... everyone is so jacked up right now!!! its awesome
 

I used to run by DLS every day at lunch. Then I got fat. Maybe I'll start again Friday !

That could mean a lot of things, like Reid telling Coach K thanks but no thanks. Too much MN steam lately to get worked up about this. GuyFawkes's source said Reid told Coach K no over the weekend, which falls in line with this tweet.

Yeah I suppose you're right. That's a great way to look at it... Maybe Coach K wished him luck in the future and gave him some good advice while thanking him for his interest in Duke or something...

OR they could have been laughing about how pissed everyone in MN will be when he declares for Duke. Welcome to the big leagues Richard.

If his true desire is business and to live in the cities...then Stanford really doesn't offer him more than the U. You make of college what you want.

It is unlikely he will be able to get into Stanford for grad school. I don't care how good of a student he is.

This is great...who would invite Minnesotans to an announcement if you were going to announce somewhere else? He seems like a total class act so I would be really surprised if it weren't Minnesota. Also, who would shadow business classes if you weren't going to study business? It seems far more like he is so excited to have finally decided and he's having trouble keeping a secret. Only the folks at 247 don't seem to know...or at least 2/3 of them. Big feather in Pitino's cap. Tubby never would have landed any of the top 3.
 

I just can't understand a scenario in which Reid would go to an exhibition game 3 days before he announces if it isn't the Gophers. With the fan base desperately wanting him to come here, you would think if it's Duke or Stanford, he would try to have it low key as possible. This with openly inviting people to the announcement here on Friday just screams GOPHERS. If he decides Duke or Stanford in front of a ton of Gopher fans Friday, it's one hell of a troll job

You've gotta believe Travis has already made up his mind (as he is announcing in a few days), but isn't giving away any details or playing favorites to keep people interested in his announcement on Friday.

And Reid is not one to troll or string fans along. I think he's going to do the right thing on Friday.
