realistic 2014 recruiting class?

Who's backing up Appling at PG at MSU this year? (Honest question) I wonder if it's such a sure thing a freshman recruit would start for them next year.

Travis Trice. My guess is that Tum Tum would start over him but it's hard to know how ready a true freshman can be. Trice is a decent, not spectacular player.

Is it realistic to land both Martin and Travis? I am guessing if we land one, we lose the other, kinda like if (big if) we land Whitehead, than we're out of the Vaughn sweepstakes.

I think Pitino only wants 1 big in this class because he is after a whole bunch of guys in 2015.

I've thought of that too, it seems like the kid from GR is coming here, hopefully we can land Henry as well. I know we're losing three guards this year, but it just seems like we are so thin upfront that it would be smart to get two bigs. I was just wondering if Travis and Martin would compliment each other or are they two in the same?

Coach Pitino. Hop on GopherHole.com. Create a username called, "InTheKnow", and tell us what's really going on. This is killing me.

IMO they are one and the same. Both slightly undersized PF's who would not transition well to center. That said, if they are the top bigs available to us I would sign both. Travis is so athletic and versatile, he would take the challenge of banging with B1G centers until help arrived. I still like our chances with the neighborhood kid.
