The extended forecast calls for rain next Saturday. It could be interesting.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!

Yeah, they're going to nail a forecast six days away. It's worked to well for the last 200 years...

The way I look at the accuracy of a six day forcast is that is could be right just like Minnesota could beat Michigan. I just don't count on it.

My prognostication is simple: 50% chance of rain. Either it will or it won't.

I'll wait until halftime to hear what the on-field local weather person has to say...

On Saturday morning, stick your head outside. If it gets wet, grab a poncho.

Check in 5 days. If it still calls for rain, stick a poncho in your coat and call it good. haha

I probably won't take any chances and will play it safe by staying home and watching it on T.V.

wow, a weather thread 6 days before the game........that is rich. and an over-the-top thread title to boot. worry much? :p

Still a ways out, but the models are definitely pointing towards a very rainy weekend in the Twin Cities:

The worst part is that it seems that the storm is centered over the Twin Cities.

Buy a damned maroon or gold rain poncho and go to the game.

The players will be there, rain or shine.

Besides, one can only get so wet. After that, what the hell is the difference?

There is nothing worse than being wet & cold. That said, I'll be there.

I am all set, I hope it does rain. This is why we play the game outside. Waterproof Gopher gear from head to toe.

Go Gophers !!!!!!!!

really.......a 2 page thread debating weather predictions?! sounds like tons of fun. just get to the game and stop worrying about something you can't do anything about.

really.....two posts in a thread when you say you don't care about weather predictions? sounds like tons of fun, just get to the board and stop worrying about things that other people are worrying about.

Whether or not the weather will affect fans depends on whether the weather has them bring a poncho and whether they think the weather will require them to wear it or whether the weather won't require them to wear it.

It will be much easier to mix my rum and coke under cover of a poncho. Bring it on!!

and then your friendly seat neighbor turns you in to the security guard. it happened to me but the policy of instant removal must be different now that there is beer.

For all you fans that wanted a outdoor stadium. This is a chance to to stand up and be counted. Show up for the game. You won't melt.

Tell me you were either completely naked, hurling an endless string of obscenities or challenging people around you to fight. If you weren't causing this type of a ruckus, your seat neighbor is a complete jackass.

They didn't kick you out though?

Then why does this message board exist? We have no control over the outcome of the games, so I suppose we should stop worrying about it.

If the weather ends up like this, it most certainly will affect the game. Predictions are for over an inch of rain Saturday.
