So, here's your chance to show off your Gopher football prediction skills.

Predict whether the Gophers win or lose in each of their 12 games this year. For each correct prediction, you'll score 3 points. (If the game ends in a tie, everyone will receive 1 point).

For the tie-breaker, predict the number of points that the Gophers will score in the last game of the season in Iowa City. (Doesn't matter what you think the Hawkeyes will score ... closest to the actual Gopher score will determine the final winner. If it's still a tie, we'll hand our multiple awards)

Thanks for working on the game.

Currently, the scoring system will provide 13 possible outcomes if there are no ties--scores from 0 to 36 depending on a result of 0-12 predictions correct and then a tie breaker. Given that so many people are A) paricipating and B) selecting similar (likely) scores for the Iowa game I would venture to guess that in the event that the Gophers have a 5 to 8 win season you'll probably see a tie. So I have an idea that could make the game more interesting.

For every consecutive game you guess correctly you get a bonus. So if you're on a streak you build points faster than someone who is more hit-and-miss. For someone on a 2-game streak, they get 1 bonus point for guessing that second game correctly. For someone on a 3-game streak they get a +2 on top of the 3 points for guessing the third game correctly and so on.

Let me reiterate this way:
Guess a game right--> 1 game win streak--> +3 points to the previous total
Guess the next game--2 game win streak--> +4 points to the previous total
Guess third game right-->3 game streak--> +5 points to the previous total
Fourth game guessed right--> +6 points to the previous total
And so on...

Then when you get one wrong and end the streak, getting the next prediction correct will only win you 3 points.

I leave it to you. Don't want to step on your toes, just thought it could be a cool idea.
