While I'll also be running the "Predict the Score" competition for each of the football and basketball games this year, I thought a "Predict the Season" event may also be an interesting way to get the football season rolling. So, here's your chance to show off your Gopher football prediction skills.
Predict whether the Gophers win or lose in each of their 12 games this year. For each correct prediction, you'll score 3 points. (If the game ends in a tie, everyone will receive 1 point).
For the tie-breaker, predict the number of points that the Gophers will score in the last game of the season in Iowa City. (Doesn't matter what you think the Hawkeyes will score ... closest to the actual Gopher score will determine the final winner. If it's still a tie, we'll hand our multiple awards)
Winner of the competition receives homage from all other entrants ... but if you've also made a donation to the Gopher Hole by the time the contest begins (deadline is September 4) you'll also receive a Gopher momento of inestimable value.
