PJ calls guys like Schiano his mentor and if you paid attention to Rutgers first two games he was clearly pouring it on during the 4th Qtr keeping his starters in the whole game. Because it today's college football it's largely about perception and unfortunately very few people look into the details even the tv analyst. A lot of people will just look at the B1G Scoreboard tonight and tomorrow and say I'm impressed with another Minn shoutout, but only 27 points against Nevada. Why do you think Notre Dame laid it on Purdue that badly, because they were determined to try to get the idea into everyone's mind that last week was an aberration. So, sorry Purdue we are going to put a beating on you and not let up with no consideration of sportmanship.

It was never contemplated that Lindsey would redshirt. He is in intensive preparation to take over next year. The odds of a guy like Lindsey being in the program five years are nil.

I share your concern. The line didn't appear to be getting that much push yesterday against a team I thought they would steam roll. Maybe Nevada is better upfront on defense than I expected them to be, but our line just didn't seem to fire out.
Getting back to back shut outs is impressive, regardless of the competition. Kerry Brown was our defensive MVP and DTII was our offensive MVP. it was very balanced attack offensively.
