Post Game Thread: Gophers BEAT Bielema!!! Win 4 Straight!!

The win, becoming bowl eligible, and finally beating Bielema were all great to see.

The change in PJ's approach is even better to see and more impactful for the future. Other than some prevent defense earlier on the final drive, he stayed aggressive on both sides of the ball with the lead. He didn't try to force the run or pass and played a good balance, taking whatever was there. When Max was struggling with accuracy on some of the longer throws, he changed the plan and focused on what was working. These were the biggest things holding us back for the last four and a half seasons and it seems like PJ has actually changed.

4-0 since my son was born!

Am I gonna keep milking this? You betcha.

Edit: Born on the day of the USC win, to make it sweeter.
Thank you for your service. Um ... looking ahead, I hope you are busy ensuring the next kid is born in time for the beginning of the '25 season.

certainly not a perfect game. a lot of missed plays, penalties, dropped passes, missed tackles...etc.

but the Gophers managed to overcome all of the miscues and found a way to win the game. I think I can be safe in saying - that would not have happened last season.

obviously, the more games they win down the stretch, the better Bowl Game they can land. If they win at least one more, I think/hope they stay away from Detroit. considering the way things started, 8 wins would be a really nice season.

Besides the hold, subsequent facemask, and targeting--- i don't think there were any other non-procedural penalties. Very strange, but refreshing to not have constant holding/PIs affecting the game

So proud of this team. They’ve improved so much in every phase as the year has progressed, and the coaching staff held them together after a start you could easily call disastrous. Even people on a diehard FAN BOARD like this were wondering if they’d win ONE more game this season. Seriously impressive stretch they’ve put together.

Awesome, just awesome! Bring on Rutgers!

Bowl eligibility out of the way now go try to make this season truly special.
The lead guy whoever he was sounded drunk. Had trouble spotting the ball.

I was so tempted to fall into doomsday mode this week, but gave us the benefit of the doubt after the last 3 games and stayed positive. Proud of myself.

100% agree, to me this is without question the best coaching staff PJ has put together. I think the last two/three games we have a full slate of timeouts going into the half and 4th. Very impressive how the the players have responded.

I didn't see any fire fleck mouthpieces on here anymore what happened to all of you
Oh my god stop it. We’re 6-3 with losses in the two rivalry games we’ve played. Best team we’ve beat is 24 ranked IL.

I’m glad we won but we’re not ordering granite for a PJ statue.

Fleck actually changed his best. His in game coaching and play calling has improved tremendously from the beginning of the year. I think I’m allowed to change opinions based on improved performance.
I have to agree. I think at Mich he finally allowed his offense to open up.
