We've become very balanced on Offense since they tweaked some things & it's nice to see the Defense has maintained playing very well late into the Season. Offense still has some kinks to work out but overall light years ahead of where we were after the Iowa game...

8-2... feels *GREAT*... Top 25 here we come... :cool02:

We have beaten Penn State and Nebraska in the same year. Let that sink in.

I think one of the big things about today's game is that we didn't play our best game and we still won. Team doesn't rattle and stays focused. I give Kill all the credit for that.

Whatever happens in the remaining 3 games, bless this team. Our young men are class acts and played hard for their coach. You have to be proud of this team if you are a true fan.

I'm so excited for the atmosphere in the Bank for the Wisconsin game. Bring it.

Saw this on another board...

Great game gophers... on to Wisky! This season has been a fun ride so far, let's keep it going! Go GOPHERS!

I am so happy for Kill and company... these kids never quit even in the first year jerry was here the kids played hard every game even though there were not getting wins.

Guys we are officially playing with house money.

We have met or exceeded even the rosiest of predictions from posters on the board this season.

That being said we have two teams that are very much built to beat us next, Wisconsin and MSU both are power run teams that stop the run well. I don't expect to win either game, and if we could pull out either it would be a miracle.

We are flying high now, but remember to keep perspective on the season and see how much this squad has accomplished if we take these next two on the chin.

Now so I'm not a complete wet blanket... RING THAT BELL BOYS!!!!

3 games left, I would consider 1 more win total an incredible season.

What an amazingly special team and season. GO GOPHERS!!!!!

Upset either Becky or MSU, win our bowl game, and the "Jerry Kill Year 3, 10 wins" streak is alive.

Let's all pour a little out for Maturi tonight. Never thought I would say that.

when I look at where we already are, and the youth of our two deeps - man, this program has potential! Absolutely loving it.

We have beaten Penn State and Nebraska in the same year. Let that sink in.

Presactly. +1K

I have a hard time believing my eyes watching this team after the Iowa game. I was hoping for that typical
year 3 from kill (8-10 win season) but knew it was highly unrealistic...but this team has guts like i've never seen
in all my years as a Gopher fan. Just plain fun to watch.

Not sure how the team will beat the Popcorn Skunks or MSU, but you never know! Who'd have honestly figured they'd be 8-2, especially after that Iowa game? The coaching staff and players have done a great job changing things up for success. Been a fun team to watch.

This win probably saved Pelini his job.

A bye week coming up is the absolute perfect thing right now, as high as were flying...you never want to get
too confident. A week to game plan for sconnie and to regroup the proper mentality that has gotten us
where we are right now.. works really well in our favor come Nov 23.

I see absolutely no reason for any national publication or espn or anyone to predict zero big ten wins next season. We've exceeded all national predictions by a long shot and most predictions by posters on this forum. In the beginning of the season being 8-2 was only a wild dream in most posters eyes. Enjoying this very much right now.

We're 8-2!!

- Offense was great in the 1st half. Nelson is playing well, Cobb is running well, the WR/TE's are making plays, and the OL is doing their thing even with the injuries. I didn't realize Bak was hurt. It looked like Bush did well replacing him. There are a lot of things I've been impressed with lately, and one of them is when someone gets hurt or struggles, the next man up is ready to go.
- A little disappointed in the offense in the second half, but they did enough to get out of the end zone on the one drive and then run out the clock at the end.
- Also disappointed in some of the mistakes in the second half. Fumble, roughing the kicker, and PI. The one called on Murray in the end zone was terrible though. Both players had their hands on each other.
- Jones is going to be awesome. Maxx Williams already is. They're both freshman.
- The defense wasn't lights out, especially against the run. But we shut down their biggest weapon. When Robinson is getting frustrated, you know you're doing a good job.
- Was disappointed in the LB's. Hopefully it was just a bad day. We'll need them to step up big time in two weeks.
- Can't say enough about the special teams. The punting was amazing, and so was the coverage. Can a flyer on the punt team be named special teams player of the week? If so, Hutton should be in the conversation.

Seriously, we're 8-2!!!

I highly doubt we beat Wisconsin, but I think we have a shot against MSU. Whatever happens I've enjoyed this ride, love watching the team each week. It's amazing how far they've come.
