Why would they say no? Washington’s game with Washington St was canceled.

What the heck? BYU absolutely does not deserve any mention of playoffs, or a NY6 game, if they're going to duck a PAC school just to keep their polished turd of a perfect record intact.

Two versions of the truth out there. They both sound plausible.

Stewart Mandel said they wanted to see where they stood in the CFP Rankings. Which comes out Tuesday.

The BYU version via sources: BYU very much wants to play, they just want a guarantee that UW won’t back out on Thursday if another PAC 12 team becomes available( Utah probably will be).

PAC rules say that Wash would have to play another PAC school if it became available. That would nullify any agreement and nothing would be lost. Do the agreement now, and if the rules supercede it then so be it.

Why make it even appear that you're trying to duck them? Stupid

Yeah. They have to play. If they don’t play, they’re done.
Even with a loss playing down 35 people they could go to the big ten title game

Ohio State has received the go-ahead for this weekend’s football game at Michigan State, the school announced Friday afternoon.

The team will take a charter flight to East Lansing on Friday night ahead of a scheduled noon kickoff on Saturday.

The announcement came a week after an outbreak of coronavirus cases prompted the Buckeyes to pause organized team activities for three days, including canceling a game at Illinois, the second time in three weeks they had a game called off..

OSU-Michigan cancelled. Time for the conference to change its rules.
