Had to post this. Bielema looks like an old Butthead.

Good lord. It's uncanny. But what are the chances of finding a picture of BigEnema with a beer? Pretty remote, I'd imagine.

LSU goes down to Ole Miss. That means 6 of the top 11 in the AP poll lost this weekend. Big shakeup in the rankings and SEC.

If the Florida St. score holds up, do they pass Ohio St. in the rankings? I think they do.

Florida St is absolutely destroying the #3 team in their own stadium. How good is Florida St? They sure played some great defense and great poise on offense tonight. I came away very impressed. They'll crush Miami, so I don't see anyone beating them (until Alabama).

Absolutely. They should.

And if Michigan is still ranked after that pathetic defensive display. ... nowhere near being a top 25 team.

FSU won't get beat by Alabama because Oregon will be winning the National Championship against the Crimson Tide this year.

Too bad the playoffs don't start this year. Potentially Alabama, Oregon, Florida St. and Ohio St. will be undefeated. That would be fun to watch.

As this plays out The BS of BCS should have a tough choice on who to chose as the top 2 teams. I am glad this is the last year of the BS. Now if was 4 teams playing for the Championship. Could you imagine choosing between Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, Ohio State? They could set the bids for the semi's anywhere, they could demand about anything for the TV rights, the tickets for the games would sell out and sell at a premium. It could become bigger than March Madness, and take some advertising, time, reporting from the National Football League.

That would be pretty cool. Ohio State's only chance now is if both Oregon and Florida State lose, and even then I could see a 1-loss Oregon getting selected ahead of the Buckeyes. After the mess that happened in the SEC today, there's no doubt Alabama is in the title game as long as they have no more than 1 loss. They could even absorb a SEC title game loss.

3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 22 all go down this weekend. Polls will look a little different tomorrow.

I'm not so sure any of those four could stay in the top two with a loss unless #3 and #4 also have losses. Keep in mind that ND was #1 last year and NOBODY thought they were better than Alabama.

If a 1 loss team gets in ahead of an undefeated Ohio St., then in my mind that proves the playoffs are needed. The argument against the playoffs has been that, under the current system, the regular season is the playoffs. But if an undefeated team from a major conference doesn't get a chance at the NC, then that is false. Ohio St. can't help that the Big Ten isn't very good. They would have essentially did everything they could. I'm not a fan of "style points". Going undefeated is going undefeated, no matter how you put it.

There is a long ways to go, however so who knows what will happen.

There also is a Baylor team nobody wants to play, Mizzou is undefeated right now although they play in the SEC. And then there is the fly in the room. Northern Illinois.

Mizzou is undefeated but has no chance to win out, in my opinion. Texas Tech is undefeated, but they are terrible on defense and won't win out. A healthy Georgia could still give Alabama trouble in the SEC championship game, but they need Mizzou to lose two more (although they have yet to play). I'm still thinking Oregon will lose to Stanford or possibly UCLA. Stanford knows how to stop that offense and it must be a Palo Alto game since they won at Oregon last year. Ohio St. is not better than Alabama or Florida St. or Oregon for that matter, but not sure anyone in the Big Ten can or will beat them. Meaning If any of those 3 (Bama, FSU or Oregon) want to be in the National Title game, they better end undefeated. Although I'd still say a 1 loss Bama team is better than OSU.

Northern Illinois has a great chance to be undefeated. Baylor or Tech in the Big12. This could be a nightmare for the BCS, and more proof that 4 is not enough, and certainly a poll picking the 2 teams is ludicrous.
