Other Bowl Games Thread

I don't understand why ASU punted. They may not get the ball back.

Hit a guy in the head with your helmet. Seems like there is no way for that not to be targeting. That's exactly why that rule is in place, to stop people from doing that.

if you don't get it there, the game is effectively over with TX needing like 20 yards. A horrible punt from their punter to not pin them inside their 10 didn't help

Because if they don't get the first down then Texas wins for sure and it was like 4th and 5.

god damnit TX is going to win this shit on a walkoff

Neither of them have “It”. That last drive says it all very Cousins like when the game is on the line. I think ND’s QB has what it takes.
that last drive to put them into position argues exactly the opposite. he is a good college QB.

Dammit

This is an abomination to sports fans and another black mark on Big Ten officials. Larry Smith crew.

Fallout from this one will be fun to watch.....unreal that a direct helmet to helmet hit is not called targeting....what a joke.

I still don't know what targeting is or isn't. Seems like it's whatever the refs feel like.

It's targeting except for when it's a huge call at the end of the game.

And lol at the kicker missing another. The refs love that this happened.

karma right there.....at least ASU still gets a shot to win it after getting hosed by the non call.

I'd have had 3 coronaries by now if I was an ASU fan. What a game. Still want an explanation why that wasn't targeting.

Non calls on obvious penalties for all to see like that targeting are going to chip away at the integrity of the game. No explanation for that leads to a lot of questions

Texas kicker should rename himself Chez Cheezly.

ASU's coach never played beyond high school and just started coaching JV high school ball in Phoenix when he was a student at ASU. Now he's already their head coach at 34 and on the doorstep of a playoff win. Wild.
