How about the coach?
 

I have to believe that this is quite an improvement for the Gophers. Yale is a much better team than North Texas. Yale lost to Purdue in a high scoring game by only eight points. With that said, the Gophers are going to have a tough season and Ben’s future is tentative at the least.

Yale is not better than North Texas

North Texas is a much better defensive team. I mean, they held the Goofs to 14 first half points compared to Yale holding the Goofs to 19 first half points. Tenacious D I tells ya! 😏

He made a big difference when he was in. He's got to watch his fouls because he's pretty essential for this team to have any success. He also sets screens well.

Kentucky settled on their 5th or 6th choice. In today’s world of college basketball, it’s hard to get top name coaches to go anywhere. That has nothing to do with our NIL program or facilities.

That said, we could absolutely land a coach who has experience from the mid major ranks that could help build our program. That’s about exactly where we always are when looking for a coach.

Neither NIL nor the Barn are an excuse for the state we’re in.

Didn't want to reply to this during the game because frankly an ingame thread isn't really the spot for it.....

But holy crap....you and a couple of other posters are so dead set on this idea that there is some Ben Johnson fan club that is in love with the coach and blindly supporting him no matter what. It is really pathetic.

Not going to recap my take on Johnson and his future here.....no point because you won't be able to comprehend it anyway and will just keep pushing your narrative because it gives you something to try and hold over other posters even if it is just BS.
 

Hey it was all you! Gotta watch more games clearly. I don’t mind our big men (obviously Dawson is Dawson), but boy without Mitchell we go on some droughts due to our lackluster guard play.
