A Saturday morning Big Ten battle at The Barn!!! MSU game was a dose of reality, but Washington should be a win, no excuses. Winning 4 of 5 in the Big Ten is nothing to sneeze at. Put the Spartan game behind us and dominate our new Big Ten friends from the opening tip.

Let's hope the students are awake early enough to pack The Barn.

Randomly remembering the ‘77 football game at Memorial Stadium with Warren Moon quarterbacking the Huskies and Paul Rogind kicking four field goals for a 19-17 win. The Huskies, led by Robin Earl, easily won the ‘76 game in Seattle. (Of course these facts have no relationship to a basketball game played 48 years later.))
 




Osobor makes me nervous. Need to limit his impact. He leads his team in minutes, points, rebounds, assists and steals.
 




Must win game today if they wanna make the big 10 tourney.

Should win pretty comfortable

Seeing the Osobor effect in two possessions

On one end, had no hope of guarding Dawson

On the other end he powered into the paint easy and drew a foul on Dawson
 






Lot of mediocre basketball on display.....would be really disappointing if we don't find a way to win this one.
 








No Mitchell or Garcia on the court....interesting to see where the offense comes from in this group.

I would say this is a nice time to see how guys play without Mitchell and Dawson who will be gone next year

But sadly, almost all this team will be.

Betts, Asuma and Frank could all come back I guess.

Mitchell is not a factor in the offense. There are no plays for him and he is not shooting well. He should run pick and rolls with Dawson and Fox for him to be effective in this non effective offensive scheme Minnesota has.
