***OFFICIAL WASHINGTON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I think I figured out why Johnson's arms crossed pose just seems off.....it is too high....Sprinkle was doing the same thing but his looked more natural. Johnson just needs to relax the shoulders a little :)

Coaching for his job in a near must win game, super senior gets a 2nd foul and coach auto benches him for the half.

There's no doubt CBJ read "Coaching basketball for dummies" and treats it like the gospel. Just the least aware coach in college basketball.

I'm normally not a guy who gets too upset about one stretch of basketball but my God! We can't handle the defensive pressure from a 1 and 8 team?

yeah....sitting him after the second foul made sense but at some point you have to trust your senior leader to go back in there and play smart.....especially when you find yourself falling behind at home...

This is the biggest half of basketball in Ben's career. He doesn't have the luxury of losing a game like this. The tank is on empty and they need to fill it up in the second half of this one.

Gophers are so offensively challenged without Garcia. If not for Asuma, this team would be down 20.

I don't want to take anything away from Washington because they are playing well but that was a disgraceful first half by the home team. Washington is playing a 9:00 AM game (their time) but they're not the team that looks groggy. In general, this team needs extra possessions to win but they're getting destroyed on the boards. This is one of the most important games of Johnson's career here and he's failing badly so far.

Ugly half.....Washington is bad so can definitely can come back but no way we should be down 10 at home against a team like this.

Going to need Garcia to have a big second half.......

I tuned in before the half, maybe with 7 minutes left. Here is what I saw: the team was consistently challenging Washington for the ball, for the passing lane, for possession, and for the basket. The problem is balls not dropping. Game is not over. We shall see.

I was worried about Osobor coming into this - he's not scoring all that well, but he is a foul-causing magnet, and that definitely hurt the lineup continuity. Gotta find a way to combat this. It's doable, Wash is not gonna be able to keep at this level.

Harris posts up Patterson everytime, easy $$$. Gotta make some sort of adjustment...
