Terrible coaching plain and simple.
 

1) Not a fan of Leidner, but we don't know if that was his fault there. Clearly him and DW were not on the same page.

2) Passing, with 82 yards to go, 15 seconds and no timeouts, when you have an inconsistent QB and an OL that is having a bad day is maybe the worst decision I have seen in my life. Someone should be fired for that.

The passing offense is a complete disaster. These guys are not on the same page. Someone needs to be sat down as a player, or a coach needs to be fired.

Was that on Woli or Mitch? Just too many dumb mistakes.

Outside of the interception it was Mitch's best half of the year.
 

If your going to throw the damn ball why wouldnt u throw it down the field 40 or fifty yards? Clayes and Leidner deserve each other. Stupid decisions after stupid decisions. What the hell is a 8 yar comeback route going to do when your at our own 20 yard line. Just stupidity at its finest.
 



Do you think Mitch feels like Ralph Sampson III since he knows he'll go down as one of the worst multi year starters on gopher history?
 

I'm not giving Claeys a pass on the play, but that is a ball that you CANNOT throw. As a 5th year senior dropping back in that situation, you either see a sure thing, put the ball in a place that only your receiver can get it, or throw it 10 rows deep.
 

You have a head coach learning on the job.
A D-Coordinator learning on the job.
An O-Coordinator with no OL and no QB.

Not a good combination. Downright freaking ugly, in fact. I just don't even have the words. What can you say?
 

Minnesota is a euphemism for "f....king losers-screw ups" and has been since Holtz left.
 


That looked to be on woli, Mitch comes off the sideline with the play; then Woli runs a route straight ahead into a defender and looked back like, "oh...."

Twice in one game that generated fourteen points for the opposition? Fire Sawvel now. How many more times does this have to happen before you realize that this coaching staff is in over their head.

We have FCS staff in an FBS league.

If we lose it absolutely should be.

Thankfully this is Purdue and they have mastered the art of the epic meltdown in the second half.
 

Problem was that both LBs showed the blitz too early.

Purdue checked into a slant. Jalen got beat.

Celestin deserves part of the blame.
 

A big interception. Should not be done in his 5th year.

I still just can't believe that play call. I'm beside myself. You go into halftime up 2...whatever, it's underwhelming, but Purude has been a 1st half team the last few weeks. You chalk it up to that. But to call that stupid sh!t, give up a score, and go in DOWN. It's just freaking unreal.
 

They should hire anyone of us as a part-time game manager coach. How a coach can get to this level and not be able to know simple things is incredible.
