Official NCAA Tournament Games Thread, Buzzer Beater Reaction, Bracket Analysis, etc

I'm sure the Buzz Williams......ummm....buzz, will pick up tomorrow if they lose tonight. Gregg Marshall too to a lesser extent.

One name not mentioned is Dana Altman. Another guy to keep an eye on if no news breaks by tomorrow.

Go Gophers!!

Will Marquette curb stomp the 'Canes?
It's looking that way in the early going...

Not likely. Minnesota cannot match the Oregon money and if he was ever going to leave Oregon it would have been when the Nebraska job was open last year. He grew up 30 minutes outside of Lincoln.

Marquette was dominant tonight and Miami picked a very bad night to have a bad night.

Go Gophers!!

Wow Ohio State wins in very similar fashion to how they won their second round game. Congrats to the Buckeyes.

Go Gophers!!

Ohio St. Shaun Miller hits an ice in the veins 3 to seal the win for the Buckeyes.....

I think Greg Anthony may punch Gottlieb in the face before the end of the night.

Zeller looks awful. Fire Crean. Tubby is coaching the Hoosiers with his inability to figure out a zone.

Goodbye IU. On the plus side, we won't have to look at Cody Zeller's parents anymore. His old man looks like the shady dentist who felt up Rose while she was under on a very special episode of the Golden Girls.

Of the four BT teams left coming into the S16, Indiana is the team I didn't mind losing the most just because of Crean.

I thought Zeller looked afraid to go inside in the second half. His shots were getting blocked and he was getting banged around and the refs were not catering to him and giving him foul calls every time someone got near him. First round top 10 draft status took a hit last night.

The bad news for Big Ten fans is last night might convince Zeller to come back for another season. Zeller's a great talent, but he reminds me of Rodney a little bit. ... he DOES NOT like contact AT ALL. He needs to get stronger and learn how to handle teams that go after him physically. Those are the teams that have given Zeller the most trouble.

Side note. ... does anyone remember Crean's early-season rant to reporters claiming Jordan Hulls would be a NBA point guard? It was typical Crean, full of bluster and arrogance. Hulls has been MIA since the Big Ten Tournament. Didn't do squat down the stretch, and quite frankly was exposed as the competition/heat ratcheted up. That tends to happen in the postseason.

Spot on.

Z literally shrinks when the 'boys play a bit rough......

Indiana talented but lacking physical and mental toughness

Not only Zeller but Watford to is all finesse. Oladipo is the only player with any size that I would consider tough. Just like when Trevor punched them in the mouth with physical play they didn't respond. Syracuse has 4-5 guys with height, length, and athleticism.

Lockett with 9 pts and 11 big rebounds for Marquette, those 11 led the team. Marquette always has excellent guard play, and when they get decent play inside they are hard to beat. Ross saved Ohio st. from getting beat by a young Arizona team. Syracuse punched Indiana and they didn't respond. They blocked 10 of their shots. Syracuse scored 61 pts and had 4 assists. Meaning Indiana didn't stop the ball well as pg Williams brought it over half court and scored. Indiana was cold and contested on their 3's and only hit 3 for 15. Wichita plays big ten basketball, they outrebounded LaSalle 44 to 23 and blocked 8 shots.

The only thing I saw Hulls do last night was clank a 3 from 25 feet and give Yogi a pat on the shoulder when Hulls came in for him after he turned the ball over.

Really disappointed with Indiana's performance. They just laid down on their back like a golden retriever. Syracuse will make you out-tough them, and IU just didn't have the stomach for it.

Oregon has done a nice job cutting Louisville's lead under double digits after trailing by 16.

Burk hits a 3 with 4.3 secs remaining to throw the game to overtime wow

Amazing, Michigan down 8 with 1:22 to go and now going OT.

God I love March Madness.
