Instead of multiple threads popping up for various games, buzzer beaters and analysis of your brackets, lets compile one into this thread. We'll obviously have separate threads for the Gophers game(s!) during the tournament.

It should be an amazing March Madness with a wide open field, chock full of buzzer beaters, upsets, story lines and memorable moments. Looking forward to a great Tourney!

Nothing is more depressing than seeing your Cinderella Elite 8/Final 4 pick go down in the first round, leaving your bracket in bad shape. Good luck to all in your brackets!
 

Michigan st has a case of the jitters early
 

This seems like a pretty safe day for the Big Ten (only Michigan and MSU, both heavily favored, right?), so my focus is going to be on the WCHA tournament games this afternoon. Cheering against Wisconsin and North Dakota like my life depends on it.
 


MSU is pasting Valpo now. Really strong so far.
 


Bucknell is terrible. 6/24 from the field against Butler so far.

Bucknell had a chance after a 19-2 run gave them a lead but then Muscala kept having shots barely rim off. Credit Butler's Stephens for calling a key timeout to slow a run for Bucknell.

The Bucknell PG named Kasper refuses to take shots that Butler are giving him. They keep sagging the defense and he is left wide open and won't shoot it. Great job by Stephens to scout Bucknell. Kasper killed Bucknell by not taking shots.

Pitt was my sweet sixteen pick, so i'm hoping they can climb out of their hole.

Down with the Big East! I'm tired of hearing my friends try to argue that the Big East is so much better than the Big Ten because they got 8 (of 15) teams in the Tournament to the Big Ten's 7 (of 12).
 

I'm loving that "Gopher" Golden Eagle's squad is about to lose. Go Davidson!
 









Inbound the ball & wait for the foul.
If the pass wouldn't have gone out of bounds, Marquette would be complaining that they didn't call that foul in the backcourt. What a great finish.
 

Davidson took 4 timeouts home with them. Coach should have used a couple to settle his team.
 




Davidson choked it. Was feeling good about my Butler Sweet 16 pick, not as much now. And Gonzaga cutting it very close.

I feel much better about it, if anything. Marquette got very, very lucky in the last minute. They're not a team that can shoot the three very well.

Counter for number of times "gym rat" is used to describe the kid from St. Cloud: 2.
