***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS WICHITA ST ESPN EVENTS INVITATIONAL SEMI-FINALS IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

The defense is decent. Anyone who can shoot (Garcia/Asuma and Mike Mitchell) needs to play 35 + minutes.

Playing good d and now finding some ways to score when you’re missing your best shooter/floor spacer. Keep up the effort on the defensive end and get out and move a little bit.

Nice baseline drive by Odukale. He's got 4 points already, a lot for him!
That's what he needs to do- drive to the hole. He can do that. He should never shoot beyond 4 feet. His defense is really good, if he can just not be a liability on offense.

Rigsby is going to be the odd man out when Cochran and Mitchell return. He can dunk, but he doesn't shoot it well or play defense that well.

A question probably most of us had in our minds was whether the team would be able to play this slowdown, grind it out defensive game with better teams and limit them to poor shooting. So far so good.

A "good" offensive half and we scored 24....

If you want to see some scoring, turn on the hockey game!

Asuma with a horrid turnover on the last possession. 9 turnovers in the half against really not that much defensive pressure.

12% from 3 so far boys 😎
We got some ball movement- scores off of assists but we were only able to make 2 jumpers in the half- the 3 by Asuma and a long 2 by Rigsby. That makes it tough.

Our biggest problem so far is that we have 9 turnovers to their 2 and one steal to their 4. Otherwise, the team is doing everything else fairly well. The team isn't shooting 3s well but neither are they.

Indiana might be really bad based upon the way that WVU is slowing down Louisville.

Big difference there is that the Shockers are getting better looks from three.

I have a hard time thinking that Indiana will go into an extended slump (like long enough to continue through our meeting) given the players they have on their team.
