***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS VIRGINIA TECH DUKE'S MAYO BOWL IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I understand the op-outs and would probably do the same if I was in their position. But I no longer have any desire to spend the money to attend bowl games when so many of the players don’t care enough to play in them. I’ll just stick to watching these exhibitions at home.

Thanks Slab, keep em comming

I've said this before, but if I was Jackson, I would have played this game. What a way to showcase your talents in front of a depleted VT backfield.
Anybody know which round "Nuts" is predicted to go?

Round 8.

I’d like to see him play too, but it is always fun to see if someone can step up for a sneak peak at next season.

There is no food I loathe more than mayo. Anyone who knows me even casually in real life knows this. Having to fetishize an off brand mayo
Nothing off brand about it; it’s my preferred choice, as a mayonnaise aficionado.
for a day is going to be a lot, but I can row the boat.

I prepared for this day for years, knowing the Mayo Bowl was coming for the M&G sooner or later.

There is a surprisingly large and passionate group of avowed mayo-phobes out there. When we meet each other it's like two sea slugs of the same kind meeting in the vast ocean to mate.

This North Texas-Texas State B game is gonna go long, isn't it?

Mayonnaise is gross. But these songs are great. Weird, huh?

Breakout performance could push him up a couple of rounds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Maxx Williams' performance in a bowl help him in the draft.

That was against a team that finished 11th in the country and played in the SEC title game. This is a 6-6 team in the era of opt outs. He's got enough on tape. Now it's about everything else.

For a moment I thought the Gophers brought back the chrome gold

I, for one, am a big Mayo fan. Turkey sandwiches, BLT'S, ham sandwiches, mayo based coleslaw. Kind of like bacon, most things better with it. Always a Hellman's man but recently tried Duke's, and... pretty good.
I also like mayo. Haven't tried Dukes yet but I will and yes, it's only cause of the bowl game

They announced that Minnesota vs Virginia Tech was on ESPN starting at 7:30 Eastern, while showing a different game on ESPN at 7:32 Eastern. Not very helpful.

Mayo and Miracle Whip are 2 different dressings. Being from the south (southern MN) I love me some Dukes mayo.

Go Gophers

There are a lot of guys on both sides who are going to get key reps tonight. More than any game this year.

A lot of those guys have transfers lined up to take their spot, so tonight's the night to dig deep.

Motivation wins minor bowls

Okay. But I'm not sure I buy into that logic.
