***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS VIRGINIA TECH DUKE'S MAYO BOWL IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I'm not sure if the 5th grade lunchroom "I'll give you $10 if you eat that thing" gross-out with the product is good marketing
maybe maybe not. I’m definitely more interested to try it.

I know the mayo thing is really gimmicky but this is probably the most Gophers coverage I've seen on SportsCenter in a while.
Well that's kind of the tradeoff for the Big 10 taking the Billions of dollars from Fox, NBC & CBS instead of Disney/ABC-ESPN.

More people I know do not have ESPN anymore. They’ve cut the cord and don’t want to pay for it. I searched to see if it’s a larger trend and found an article from a year ago that reported ESPN had lost almost 4 million subscribers, and MLB 11 million.

If this trend continues, I think it’s smart for the B1G to have the free broadcast networks as their largest partners.

Still including the Bowl more than half of the Gopher games this season required some sort of pay subscription. 7 total were on either Peacock, FS1, BTN or ESPN.

Sure, replacing ABC with CBS & NBC (while maintaining Fox) means an extra game or 2 is on Free Network TV.

Replacing ESPN with Peacock means a game or 2 will be streaming only.

I'm not saying it's better or worse. It's just the way it is.
