***OFFICIAL*** Minnesota Vs. Southern California (GAME THREAD)

Weber might go down as the most overrated QB in gopher history, sure he has all of these U of M records, but seriously what does that mean?? That's like becoming Army's all time leading passer, they've never thrown the BALL!! Plus who else has been allowed to start for four years?? Weber simply has never lead a game winning drive, beaten a rival (much like Brewster), or won a game of any importance. He also has greatly played down to his competition in recent years. To put Weber even in the category of even a Asad Abdul-Khaliq is absurd.

Plus the two years with Dunbar equals about 4 years under Mason in terms of passing.

These are two well coached teams that don't commit mental errors and are prepared to play every week...................

Overrated?? He's most underrated QB. Can't believe so much hate on this thread for a very good QB and one of the best QBs to ever play for the Gophers. He has no supporting cast. Put him in a good program and he'd thrive. Hey, he was considered an NFL draft prospect in his freshman year. I can't recall the last time Gophers had a QB who was ranked as a likely draft pick. Not sure, he's still considered an NFL pick, but I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually makes an NFL roster.

Really your putting all your belief still on potential? We've watched him for almost 4 years! Put any QB behind a great O-Line and yes they'll strive, but great QB's find a way to win no matter what. You can't always put the blame on the supporting cast.

why don't you take your pissing contest to one of the 25 other adam weber is terrible threads

Good lord, you cannot just run the same play over and over like this.

What an embarrassing pathetic display of creativity. When they throw they do OK, when the run it up the middle 3 times they punt. Jesus.

I'm usually not too negative but I can only think of a handful of times where our RBs actually made a cut or two. Half of the time they are just running right into our O-lineman. Sure part of that is on the line because they aren't getting a push, but the backs need to run into a different gap if the original one is covered up by bodies.

Thinking we're going to need a turnover of substance to have any chance.

its funny the difference in coaching smarts. They find plays that work, we keep running the same play that is screwing us over.

Worst coaching staff ever. They run the same play on offense all the time and can't stop the same play on defense.

Two basic football plays have decided this game.

They are pathetically inept.
