*** OFFICIAL MINNESOTA-PURDUE IN-GAME THREAD ***

While i appreciate the anecdote, I was simply referring to the need for babysitting/referee'ing and not actually your prediciton(s).

Ya, my bad...Commissioner makes a decision, people still can't follow, and to help everyone feel good by giving out participation ribbons, the Commissioner redacts his rule. Oh well, that is why I get the big bucks for this.

Anyone think of a half of football by a Gophers quarterback to compare to this?

Adam Weber had three touch down passes in the first half against Michigan St back in 2009. That was the game he went over 400 yards and throw 5 TD's.

So...when we make a bowl game, that's sort of like having pulled Nelson's redshirt after only 5 games, right?

Oops. did i do that?

*edit. Looks like i was late on that one.

Man, it feels good to be on the other side of an in-conference beat down....

I hope Bleed can get a link that will show Coach Kill's halftime speech that will be intended to keep our guys on task for the 2nd half.

I would love to see the guys keep this up so we end up with about a 57-14 blowout. That would be worth all of us going to Alexandria so station19 could host a party in the park under Big Ole.

He would probably even allow Parsk1 to show up. :drink:

I would like to see the Gophers (or any MN team for that matter) put a load on and blow someone out, outright, for once. 50+ would get me through the week just fine.

With the way Purdue's defense was reeling the considering how well the offense has been clicking I would have liked to see them take a shot at the EZ right before the half but tough to find much fault in a great half of football from all three phases.

Sure is different playing at home

The last time we scored 34 or more points in the first half?.....wait for it.............Dec 29 2006 versus Texas Tech. ;)

Great to see the Gophers going for points just before the half - never stop scoring and never SIT ON A LEAD!

My son at TCF working sidelines with Gaardsy says the place is rocking.

This is the most fun I've had at the bank since, well... Syracuse haha. Good to finally come out and clobber someone.

It really is amazing in college football how different teams can look at home vs. on the road. Great half hopefully they keep it up and this one never gets interesting in the second half. We are way overdue for a blowout.

Parski would take the wrong highway and get lost. He has a hard time with numbers.

We had one earlier this year 44-7.

When he comes up 94 from the cities and asks me for directions, I will tell him to come to exit 103 at Alex and take a left. He will spend 2 days looking for Big Ole in Glenwood. hee hee hee.

Very impressed with Nelson so far. Looks very poised and comfortable with what's going on around him. Definitely a step in the right direction through 30 minutes today.

Carter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 PD and 1 INT returned for TD on one drive? That's domination rarely seen...

KEEP THE BEER GARDEN OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, never mind, mine is. :drink:
