*** OFFICIAL MINNESOTA-PURDUE IN-GAME THREAD ***

Great catch by Q and a nice run by RodWill. Where has this energy been the last couple of weeks?

Too bad for Gray that he couldn't throw to himself.

Wow! This is what we've been waiting for.

We have a passing game! Barker is the new Decker - and the red shirt is working (with Gray making a big contribution as receiver).

Well, barring injury, I don't see Shortell ever seeing the field in a competitive game again. I am THRILLED that the team has moved on from trying to plug Gray back in at QB. We needed to move on to a new offensive system/personnel and I think Nelson could be special. Thrilled about the future!

Boy, it is sure nice to have a passing game!!!!!!

Lol yes I still think burning a redshirt on a qb 7 games into a season was a bad idea. It's over move on

Are you stubbornly exaggerating to make a point, or are you that poor of a Gopher fan that you really don't know we pulled it after 6?

It feels like an eternity since Ive felt this way watching a Gophers game when really it was more like week 4, but its awesome.

I just got here, and reading from posts #12 - #24 I thought we were already slaughtered. Then from #25 on, GH posters came to realize the start of the game is not the game.

Wish I would have had the radio on before I came to this thread, but I did what I did, and the Gophers are where they are, up 21-7.

Go Gophers!!!

My guess is his preference is that we have 4 years of Nelson instead of only 3 1/2.

What is after 6? We started him game 7, thank you for the laugh

Because college qbs typically start at least 48 games in their careers?

If Nelson plays like this every week, he won't have a senior year....

I think after not winning squat for the last half of a millenium, you start winning games as soon as possible. Looks like we're headed in the right direction.

*Oops. I meant half a century. It just seems like a millenium.

Good things happen when you hit your receivers.

Wow. Purdue is supposed to h e a pretty decent D. What happened?
