Some of the worst shooting I've ever seen the last couple minutes.

We lack general basketball sense and awareness. But I think that comes from the coaching staff too. Leaving your best shooter and defender on the floor with 4 fouls with 12:00 to go? How about the general inability to get the ball inbounds most of the time? That's why teams like Wisconsin win in this league -- not overly talented but well coached and great basketball awareness.
 

The Gopher have neither the shooters or the basketball IQ to beat the zone.

I'm trying to not think about this game.
 

I don't have an idea what to think. We lost the three games against the fifth ranked teams, but we competed and looked decent.......even if we come back and win this by 7, this game has left me feeling rotten.

You beat a zone by quick passes. Every pass the Gophers make is caught, then they look around for a few seconds and let the zone reset, then dribble and pass way outside of the play, or dribble-drive into the heart of the defense. The problem is lack of awareness on how to beat a zone.

worst shooting I have ever seen.... Why do we get worse every year at this time of the season - We should be ahead by 20 and Rodney can you shoot and whaTS WITHE hOLLINS!!!!

Andre has played terrible. We have shot about as poor as I have ever seen. Guard play has been disgusting. If our guards can't create any dribble penetration we won't make a come back
