Well this should make the turnout for the Nebraska game feel like a game during the Monson Era
 

I can't believe Maverick and Welch are going to have to be our guards and bring us back.
 

No sense of urgency by our guards...nobody has the ability to put the ball on the floor and drive.
 

You HAVE to get Dre back in the game. As awful as he's been he is the only one capable of making a couple shots in a row.
 

Tubby had to know they would come out with the 1-3-1 zone.....what ever we are running against it makes no sense.

Andre Hollins has been absolutely awful tonight. He had to take him out. I best chance to win right now is with him on the bench.
 


This is the kind of game you get when you take your opponent lightly. They showed little effort in the first half, didn't put them away when they could have, and then when things didn't go right and NU hit some shots, everyone tightened up and butter hands and bricks were contagious all around. Yuck. Respect your opponent from the tip-off and things like this do not happen! :mad:

Tubby doesn't have a clue, hall of fame?????, hard to watch, you'd think they would prepare for the zone.
 

I don't have a lot of positives to say here.... Only thing is the Season is long and we have time to get things right...

Talented team, but tubby is losing them....

No injury excuses or transfer excuses this year tubber.....

This is more telling than any other game this year. I don't post to please the incredible homers on here who think any criticism is uncalled for no matter what. I'll let Amelia Rayno and Marcus Fuller do that.

Like I said, I'll support the team and continue to stay supportive, but this team just looks terrible.

Sure, the Gophers are playing badly, Tubby probably made a huge mistake keeping Hollins in with 4 fouls, but I'm what makes this game SO much harder to endure, is reading all of your negative bs.

I don't care if its true!! All the negativity just sucks my soul dry. I'm going to give up coming to the GH, because I HATE GOPHER FANS. Not every single one of you, obviously, but FAR TOO MANY OF YOU!!!!!


I swear, if we come back to win this game and/or come back to win a Big Ten Title, I'll remind each and every one of you ashwipes of what you said. NONE of you will deserve to enjoy any success this team has.
 

Tubby simply canNOT coach offense. Period. Never has. Never will.

We are at our "best" when things just completely implode with Tubby's "scheme" and they go 1 on 1. Carmody is 10X the coach at a fraction of the cost. Shame on our AD for extending this bum last year.
 

Mav quickly drives into a trap
 

Mav falls right into the NW trap. Dribble straight back to midcourt and picks up his dribble. What an idiot.
 


Dre was 1 of 10 with 8 turnovers and played poor defense...Can't blame Tubby for sitting him...But Tubby shoulda pulled off the court at the 15 minute mark of the 2nd half and coached him!
 

Yeah, glad to see we haven't thrown in the towel. Mav in there throwing up bricks now. Or dribbling into trouble and wasting a timeout. My head may explode tonight.
 

OK. Dre's been punished enough. Put him back in please

Have you guys not been watching Andre tonight? I thought he should have been taken out a lot earlier. Turnover machine, can't hardly hit the rim, and his defense is awful.
 

soft foul there really hurts us...forcing Trev to shoot a FT is a no win for us.
 

This has been awful to watch. Complete head-case game. I feel like I am watching a mediocre high school team. And do they not know how to play against a 1-3-1??? I agree that Tubby has some responsibility in this, but the guys have GOT to learn to play together, there is so much athleticism on this team.

And Trevor misses another FT.
 

Man. I do not remember the last time the 1-3-1 has given us this many fits.
 

Maybe we could shoot over 50% from the FT stripe? No? I guess too much to ask.
 

Trev left 8 poins at the FT line tonight..most were waaaaay short...Why can't he adjust and use the backboard??? My god!@
