When Rodney jumps, it just looks different than everybody else. Not just that it's higher, but it's smoother if that makes any sense. It's kind of like in baseball when a good hitter sounds different when he makes contact than everybody else
 

Anyone else get the feeling that these are clearly ACC refs? It seems that FSU's getting a lot of calls.
 

We tend to have offensive lulls at some point in every game. I'd be surprised if FSU doesn't make a run at this eventually.
 

I love that the ESPN crew is gushing over Williams and Dre. Awesome.

Anyone know who the announcing crew is for ESPN2 tonight? They are good. Not often I think that about announcers.

It seems like all of our guys who had been struggling are finding their groove tonight. Good to see. GREAT half.
 




I'll take a 13 point lead into the half. Defense looks good and we are shooting pretty well. Hope that continues.
 

That was the best half of basketball we've played all year. Well done.
 

Trevor has been a non-factor in the first half. Time for him to do his thing in the 2nd half.

Exactly what I was going to say. Turnovers were kept down (other than Mav), defense was solid and the ball moved crisply to the open man on offense. Very nice half. Here's to hoping we play another half just like the first.
 

That was a huge 3 by Julian right at the end of the half.

If we can play that well without a contribution from Trevor, that really says a lot for the rest of the team. If Trevor's firing too - look out

Would like to see Trevor get more involved this half as well.

Like that we are dominate without him being a factor, but, again, would like to see him get more involved in the 2nd half.
 

19 - 13 rebounding edge. Gophers look tougher than FSU. Physical games in the Bahamas helped get them ready.
 

Great half by the Gophs. Really good to see Welch and Elliason have some very good minutes.
 

Both teams playing good D, I'd give the edge to the Gophers, and yet both teams only have 7 T/O's each.
 

Great half! I'm not sure FSU is built to come from behind either...
 


The Gophers had a great first half. Doesn't look like FSU has a chance to come back, unless they get to score through goaltending a lot more often. Andre Hollins looks like more like a Senior than a Sophomore. FSU is a team that in the past has thrived on tremendous defense in the post and offense that came on as the year developed, but this year it looks like they don't have the same defensive presence in the post and now their lack of offensive skill is even more of a problem.
 


Let's turn this into a blowout and make some noise, nationally. FSU is going to need 45-50 points in this half to win this one. Don't see it happening. Gophers win this one easily.
