***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT UCLA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Let this be a lesson to you! You don't bring your crusty parents to a Gophers game, you don't ask your crusty ass parents to watch you coach against a Gophers game! This is your notice! You will do nothing but break their geriatric heart and put them at risk! There will be no more warnings, you have been informed!!!!

This needed to be said.

What a Gopher-like loss by UCLA. Ten missed free throws in the second half and a questionable charge call that goes against them.

But give the Gophers credit. Garcia is playing like the player of the year in the conference and this team could have quit the last two games but didn't.

This feels a lot like last February.

That Garcia half was fantastic. Every time the Gophers got it down to a one possession game, UCLA would score immediately. Never felt like a win was possible, but a much more competitive game than expected...then UCLA absolutely couldn't make a free throw. They said they finished 9-19, but that had to include missing the front end at least twice. Patterson with the game winner going hard to the basket again after going hard against USC and picking up the foul.

Back to Dawson, he's having the best season of any Gopher in a long, long time. I really hope he gets drafted and gets paid.

First half was rough.....offense was really bad but D was good enough to keep UCLA from running away with things.

Nice adjustments at halftime in terms of playing more uptempo and Dawson did the rest.
Agreed, first half was rough, but the defense they were playing, made it seem like they were still in it.

We stepped on a rake against Washington which stings more now.
Is what it is.....looking very likely that we will get into the BTT at this point which is great considering it wasn't long ago we were sitting at 0-6 and looking like the season was quickly going off the rails.

I still think the team ultimately falls short of their goals and a coaching change happens but great to see the guys busting their ass and playing hard night in and night out.

Bringing old parents to basketball game!? I wouldn't recommend it.

There was nothing questionable about that charge. Patterson beat him to the spot and the offensive player used his arm to try and clear space. That was great defense by Patterson, he knew right where the UCLA guy wanted to go and he beat him there.

You have more faith in the AD than I do.

Not a questionable charge call. That was a full extension push off.

I don’t think that charge was questionable at all. Absolutely the right call.
