Two things are true.
1. Athan played a horrible half of football.
2. Benching Athan would be a terrible decision.

This. Athan hasn't played a great game so far. And this doesn't change my opinion of him being the QB for the next few years.

Taylor is the entire ground game - hitting better than 5 yards a crack. Now if only we had a QB who could hit 60% of his passes instead of 38%. PJ is stubborn and will go with Athan, just as he is stubborn on weird uniforms. Cole could spark the team, maybe set up Athan to do better in the 4th quarter, but we won't see it. Only Rossi can win this game.
