Planned for the FG, got the FG. Would have liked to see a few more shots at the end zone, but glad they got the 3.
 



Up 7 at halftime on the road, despite dropped passes and a dropped INT. It's the Gophers. Not pretty, but pretty good.
 

Man I will take it. Defense played good aside from the blown 4th down. Offense not turning it over and punching a few in. Keep it up in the 2nd half.
 

What a great half! D doing a great job locking down Westerkamp...using the OSU playbook. O mixing it up SO nicely! Mitch has been $...this is by far his best performance of the year so far. We'll need those throws down the stretch, and the running lanes should continue to open up. Loving this so far!

PS: Give it to Brooks on another jet sweep plz...thx.

Not football related... what a horrible ad I just witnessed for the U of M.
 


To keep from getting overly frustrated, I chose not to post during game play tonight. But I wanted to stop and say that was the best first half we've played all season, Mitch looks really strong tonight and if Still and Carter could ever win a one on one battle we'd be up big. Very happy with what I saw. Go Gophs!

In football related news,
Overall I'm pretty happy, I just hope we get out of the same ole, 'play not to lose' mentalilty.
Keep the iron hot and make a statement. Keep the offense balanced and on D, dont play 7 yards
off on a 4th and 2...

Amen to that. It's halftime and I haven't even had a drop of alcohol yet. Outside of pure game stats, I'm not sure there's a more accurate barometer of a successful half of football.
