***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT IOWA JUST FIND A WAY TO WIN THIS GAME THREAD!!!***

oh....I am thinking about 8 yards ....lol.

Let's see how they come me out in the 2nd half. Do they come out pissed and put a beating on or do they fold up and call it quits.

We ARE the better team. But this is just brutal to watch!
Steveler once didn't throw a pass until the 4th quarter...

true, but Iowa had little to do with any of it.

we missed the field goal, we committed all the penalties. They didn't do schit
Exactly my point. They let their opponent self destruct.

Trying to change their best. I applaud it

You’re correct but that is his point, they don’t do much but they don’t shoot themselves in the foot. They win by not making mistakes and letting poor teams make mistakes that beat themselves. This is why Iowa gets crushed by good teams but still manages to win 8+ games a year

Looked like a facemask after the catch.

AMAZING!
another drop,...

Crooms just fkn HATES catching the ball...

The only thing that I can think of, is his QB coach has changed and perhaps that isn’t meshing like everyone wanted.
He's not getting any help from the receiving corps... and hasn't (for the most part) all season. Whether it's BSF dropping passes, or Crooms dropping 'em... AK just isn't getting any help. Coaching isn't doing him any favors either.

If they insist upon playing like a service academy shouldn’t they find a running QB?
Agreed, at least with the service academies you know they're not passing much so their QB is a willing runner, so they scheme for 10 blockers. In our scenario we have a QB who can't pass and PJ apparently doesn't want to run him because of injury. So, what is the value of the QB role on the Gophers right now for the most important position on the field?

PJ 17 probably has had 30 coaching changes in the seven years that he’s been here. The current D coordinator for Rutgers and KC were big losses. PJ has no chance head to head against pretty much any coach with his current staff. He’s just not smart or good enough to overcome the lack of talent on his staff. I get the dropped balls and execution and all that but these kids just aren’t coming ready to play.

Exactly, blame the coaches, blame the play calling. But it’s on the players and has been for several of the Iowa losses.
There is plenty of blame to go around. But yeah, a ton of it falls on the players.
