Free throws do not go in when you clank them off the back rim in those spots...but they did!
 




Odukale takes a lot of shit on this board, but he was awesome tonight on both sides of the court. He’s by far the most well rounded athlete on the team. He absolutely stuffed the stat sheet tonight including the wild circus at the FT line.
 




A nice defensive effort, especially Mitchell! Mike M was trying to let Iowa back in by jacking up early 3’s? On a 3-14 shooting night? Is he really a SR?

Me too, watched the first half then had to come back and watch the rest on record. Managed not to see the final score ahead of time.

Frank Mitchell and Femi were huge tonight. Easily the best Frank has played so far this season. Icing on the cake was both of them hitting clutch free throws late in the game....they weren't pretty free throws but they somehow went in and that is all that matters :)

Team is definitely playing better overall and some of the new guys seem to finally be adjusting to Big Ten play. Still don't think anything has changed yet in regards to Johnson's status after this year (going to need to win a lot more games) but at the very least the chances of not finishing in the bottom three and missing the Big Ten tournament seem to be increasing.

Beating Iowa in anything is always fun. Players are clearly still bought in and working hard so nice to see them have some positive moments to celebrate.

Mike took a couple that were ill advised from a clock standpoint but they were wide open looks and he is usually a good 3 point shooter. It was a nice road win. Caught Iowa on a rough shooting night and had a few guys really step up and play great in Frank and Femi.

I prefer to think that our defensive effort was just too good for them to overcome.

I am currently over enthusiastic at this moment
