***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT #1 RANKED OHIO STATE BUCKEYES IN-GAME THREAD***

On the bright side, Hugh McCutcheon just challenged game point of game 3 tonight against Michigan (initial call went against us and it looked like the right call) and they reversed the call and gave it to us which gave us the game. Gophers ladies up 2-1 right now on Michigan.

Picking up the flag was ridiculous! Even the guys in the broadcast booth were siding with the penalty. Insanity! I don't blame Leidner. If we are to have any chance to win he's going to have to force some balls. We can't run it. Period.

Mitch is playing fine. He has no running game to compliment him and he's under pressure constantly. He made one bad throw on the pick 6 and it shouldn't have counted anyways.

I agree with no running game and no offensive line. But he threw that pick on our 4 yard like while falling backwards. NEVER THROW THAT BALL EVER. He's our captain, he should know better. But he doesn't...

Some of you are such clueless twits.

I know people don't like complaining about the refs, but what really sucks is that two weeks in a row a ref who was standing feet from the play immediately and decisively threw a flag. And two weeks in a row it gets mysteriously overturned. If you're a conspiracy theorist and you ever needed evidence that things are not right, you've had two great examples two weeks in a row. It really sucks because those were each arguably the most important plays of the game. I just can't stand it.

And if Claeys doesn't want this job, he's doing a great job of showing it. Between the end of the last game and that bull**** at the end of the half... What I'll never understand if you are going to run the clock out, then just take an effing knee. Why hand off or do anything that could lead to a fumble? I thought with Kill not coaching we might see a different mindset in that situation. Guess not.

That was fun for awhile tonight. Too bad.

These are pretty much my thoughts, although there were a lot of important plays screwed up by the Gophers last week post the flag pick up. They simply are not good enough to win at Ohio State when a call like this goes against them.

The situation at the end of the half was all too familiar. I don't understand how this staff hasn't moved beyond this "don't screw up" mentality. It hurt them against Wisconsin last year and it arguably hurt them against Michigan just last week too.

Maybe the running game wouldn't suck if they didn't run the ball into a 9 man front on 1st down every single time. Don't worry, though, Limecrapper is setting up a single read option play for later in the game when they are down by 30.

Leidner isn't a huge problem but he is also supposed to be the guy that doesn't lose you games and he is currently losing them the game.

I agree that there was absolutely no replay angle that had a better view than the official that threw the flag, plus it took all but a second to reverse it. I have officially given up on college football after the past two weeks on flags that were picked up.

Specially teams still stink- whatever happened to getting touchback a on kickoffs

I hope claeys says enough to "get fined" maybe he can get the players P. O'd enough to steamroll those arrogant bastards

If I'm head coach, I care less if I get fined. I make big deal of it. Make it go national. Bring an f'ing still shot to the press conference.

From the replays I saw, the ball was placed where Maye could have caught it. Pick 6 also should never have counted with the BS overturned call.

Announcers: "Two mistakes in the 1st half"

On defense.... Infinite mistakes were made on offense.

Less than a yard average on 1st downs - Limey and Claeys should be embarrassed on how predictable they are

So should you.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Good field position. Defense still holding up even after the TD drive before the half.

Bosa was half a yard offsides on that 3rd down.
