You get the ball on the 40 with 50secs down 14 and you decide to run out the clock? Claeys may be the worst clock manager in all of college football.

There are times I think they should just bring back the Flying Wedge.
 


No contact to the head or neck area. That was the call by the replay ref.

Yeah... why try when the G.D officials are screwing you too! Took away a first down on a nice drive with BS PI call and then reverse an obvious targeting play! F them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 



What the F was that going in to the half? Almost a minute and two timeouts down two scores? F'ing terrible.

The reverse of that targeting call was so awful. We've now had two huge calls reversed on hits on Leidner in two weeks.

So disappointing to give up that 3rd and 18 QB draw that then lead to the Buckeye TD. Gophers should have been getting the ball in great field position and instead gave up a ridiculously easy conversion. Claeys/Sawvel were hitting all the right notes until that play call. Disappointing to see Murray get smoked then Boddy-Calhoun not even be able to slow Elliott down on the following two plays. Can't have your best players come up small in those crucial spots.
 

Does anyone wonder if the play calling that occurs demoralizes our own team? I swear to God, if I was someone on that team my motivation would be killed if my OC called plays like a cuckhold. Giving up with 50 seconds left would make me lose faith in my coaches.

It's incredibly frustrating. Our margin for error is small enough as it is.

Well Mitch is Mitch making dumb throws. Our defense can't outscore Mitch's dumb plays. Offensive Line is still terrible. The 2 freshmen RB's aren't doing squat and we have no receivers. Other then that, great game.
 



Iowa is gonna be a fluke win against OSU away from the CFP. Incredible.
 

Playing to lose, every time........unless it is in an obvious situation where you should play for OT.
 

Limey's play-calling too conservative, risk-averse. Obviously Ohio State was going to score some eventually. Same old...
 

I laughed earlier when there was 3rd and 8 and they had the fullback in............Limpgrover. It was an amazing play action pass that no one gave a crap about.

Just turds all around with this staff.

So scared to even try to win. They are desperate to try to lose by only 30.
 

I hope claeys says enough to "get fined" maybe he can get the players P. O'd enough to steamroll those arrogant bastards

Mitch is playing fine. He has no running game to compliment him and he's under pressure constantly. He made one bad throw on the pick 6 and it shouldn't have counted anyways.
 


I know people don't like complaining about the refs, but what really sucks is that two weeks in a row a ref who was standing feet from the play immediately and decisively threw a flag. And two weeks in a row it gets mysteriously overturned. If you're a conspiracy theorist and you ever needed evidence that things are not right, you've had two great examples two weeks in a row. It really sucks because those were each arguably the most important plays of the game. I just can't stand it.

And if Claeys doesn't want this job, he's doing a great job of showing it. Between the end of the last game and that bull**** at the end of the half... What I'll never understand if you are going to run the clock out, then just take an effing knee. Why hand off or do anything that could lead to a fumble? I thought with Kill not coaching we might see a different mindset in that situation. Guess not.

That was fun for awhile tonight. Too bad.

Well his head is making contact with Leidner above his shoulders. I just assumed Leidner's neck and head were above his shoulders.

Either way, it is way too close to overturn a call like that. It is supposed to be definitive to change the call on the field.

I can't tell by that. The ABC in game official thought it was penalty, it was called a penalty on the field, and I never saw a replay that was anywhere near conclusive that it was NOT a penalty.
