BJ drew up the playTT needs to not take that shot.

I think he tried to time it to get a cheap bucket. Good idea. TT missed. That’s the end of it.Ok
Personally I find it risky to make a cut before the inbounder has the ball
You may even be trying to leave early and it doesn’t work because he doesn’t get the ball
You have to be a die hard fan to be on this board discussing Dennis Evans.Well that sucks.
The fake fans will pound the drum on the loss. Badmouth Evans, badmouth underdogs making progress, badmouth what is coming together
If that’s true—that’s an issue. He shouldn’t be a first or second or third or fourth option.BJ drew up the play
Our great inbound play has TT taking a 3I think he tried to time it to get a cheap bucket. Good idea. TT missed. That’s the end of it.
I didn’t say it was great. It was an effective inbounds play. They got a wide open 3. Having shitty players is an entirely different issue. Our great inbound play has TT taking a 3
And there is our team
I think its a bit but who has said anything bad about Evans?Well that sucks.

They were also right that it was not a foul by TT at the end. The one angle looks like it but the one they showed after the game showed it was ball.Weber is absolutely correct. We are so young it leads to a lot of little mistakes down the stretch of games (ie blocking out or not pinching down on free throws). Hopefully that means we can flip the switch at some point and start making those plays (even if it’s not til next season).
I’m just saying even though it got an open look I’m not sure that’s how the play was drawn up.I didn’t say it was great. It was an effective inbounds play. They got a wide open 3. Having shitty players is an entirely different issue.
TT had 2 phantom foul calls...the last cost the Gophers a win.The Gophers should play more zone and TT, despite his flaws, should play more.
They were already a combined 0-9 from 3 with a minute left in the game. 6-25 total (~25%)Pretty clear why Thompson doesn't play.
Blew this one...
Couldn't get Battle to touch the ball in the last minute, instead it was Thompson and Cooper putting their finishing touches on goose eggs from long range.
Good job.
Him shooting 0-6 from 3 and being a weakling with the ball too...TT had 2 phantom foul calls...the last cost the Gophers a win.
reminds me of similar hustle players who got too few minutes, such as elliott eliason. Sometimes a guy who just hustles and plays hard makes a big difference. Dude should get more minutes.TT needs a lot more minutes. Not the best offensively, has failures, but gives great effort, intensity, and rebounding.
The phantom foul calls weren't his fault. The missed layups were but I still thought he played well overall.TT had 2 phantom foul calls...the last cost the Gophers a win.

I mean, he was WIDE open. Unless they were trying to waste time (apparently not) you couldn’t ask for a much better look. TT is not a terrible shooter. If he made that the game turns out way different…straight on but off the back iron. Our great inbound play has TT taking a 3

True. But that wasn’t the way it was designed. It was a broken play.I mean, he was WIDE open. Unless they were trying to waste time (apparently not) you couldn’t ask for a much better look. Was about as fun to watch as you can get for a loss.I almost didn't watch this game after turning on BTN and hearing about the absent players. I'm glad I did. This was an inspired performance by a skeleton crew.
Put 20 lbs on the young man and he actually could make earn more minutes at he 5. In the meantime PP has a much higher upside.TT needs a lot more minutes. Not the best offensively, has failures, but gives great effort, intensity, and rebounding.
Me too. This team and staff are starting to build something. Ola pushing that idiot in their huddle was a good sign. They are maturing. I thought it would be 20+ loss. This makes 4 of 6 that could have been. I know everyone can say "could have", but this team is getting stronger and better.I almost didn't watch this game after turning on BTN and hearing about the absent players. I'm glad I did. .You are the master of drawn out, petty arguments. You could suck the joy out of a Hawaii vacation.
8 rebounds 4 assists 1 steal 3 blocks and 8 points. No to shabby!Him shooting 0-6 from 3 and being a weakling with the ball too...
True PP has that "it". But man, TT gives gives all he has. Yes, give him 20+ pounds and those blocks at the rim offensively become dunks and Minnesota wins games like this. He is close.Put 20 lbs on the young man and he actually could make earn more minutes at he 5. In the meantime PP has a much higher upside.
