Should have red shirted Cade and have him for another year. Oh well gives another portal prospect or two a chance to shine or find durkin for the open 3.

He'd be better...but he'd still have little to no skill.Turner needs to drop 20 and he'd be better.
As I always say, I like my crowds like I like my women: small and loud.Fun game to be at. Crowd wasn't big but it was very vocal and engaged, boys gave a great effort. As Indiana found out it's a tough league to win on the road in.
Loved Asuma’s game today. He was so much more confident and aggressive. Definitely something to build on there.Watch second half. They played poised and under control. Spacing was good. Asuma looked the smoothest I’ve seen him and he wanted to ball to close it out.
Quality win!
And the way he was smiling at the end, it looked like such a relief and a big win for the team and he knew it.Loved Asuma’s game today. He was so much more confident and aggressive. Definitely something to build on there.
Maybe it's my familiarity with Cory Provus but I thought he did an extremely good job on the PBP call. I was very impressed with his work tonight.Anyone bad mouthing Hummel can shove it, one of the best commentators out there right now.
That’s going to cement that team’s togetherness.Wow. Just finished watching. What a gutty performance from this short-handed crew!
Only 1 point from 21 total bench minutes.
Probably not a sustainable approach, but that sure was fun!
Clem’s first win against a ranked Big Ten team was in his 39th Big Ten game.In his first conference game, Niko has now won half as many conference games as Pitino won in his 3rd season and Johnson won in his second. The great thing about this win (in addition to being a rare one against Indiana) is it was truly a team effort.
Cory is a consummate professional as are virtually all the radio play by play baseball guys. You have to be good to do radio sports and the season is just too long to survive on schtick.Maybe it's my familiarity with Cory Provus but I thought he did an extremely good job on the PBP call. I'm usually not a big fan of Hummel in general but I didn't notice any IU partisan slant from him in this game.
Thought the same thing watching last night. He's calm and has all the needed skills.Cade Tyson is the best all around player we have had here in years. I am shocked how good the kid is and how hard he plays, within a team concept. Hubert David ought to be fired for malpractice not finding a way to play this kid.
Loved the motor and effort out of Grove tonight. Good call out on Reynolds having a Grier like game. Hopefully he can build on that and keep it going. Nice to see Durkin hitting shots and having a little swagger. Maybe a game like this is all he needs to get going. If Asuma can play like that regularly he'll be a good one. Tyson was Tyson. If the guys around him can help with scoring consistently we will have some good games to watch this winter. They might not win a lot but they should be entertaining. All around a fun game.

I am with you regarding Hummel. He has grown so much from when he first started. I think he is really good. As one of the former players who do color for College BB he is, IMO, one of the better ones.Cory is a consummate professional as are virtually all the radio play by play baseball guys. Hummel is a Purdue guy. Suggesting he might have partisan bisses toward IU is like saying I might have biases towards Skunkville because I live 20 minutes from Wisconsin. The bitterness runs deep down there. Boilers despise Hoosiers.
Objectively, I think Robbie is rising to the top of his profession. He does a boatload of games and always seems prepared and he obviously knows the game well and is entertaining while being understated.
I really like Phons when he is calling games. I especially like him when he is in studio with Seth Greenberg.Hummel is at the very top of college basketball analysts. The consummate pro. At, worst top 3.
Off the top of my head, Shon Morris, LaPhonso Ellis, Steve Lappas, and Jim Spanarkel among others I really like.
His blocked shot was amazing. I was shocked at his speed and also the vertical - I didn't know he had either. Good to see.Grove's dunk on that breakaway dunk REALLY shifted the momentum in our favor. We need more bench production than a combined 0-1 shooting, but everyone who played played hard and contributed to the win in some way.

Clem never lost to Wisconsin at home
I agree Hummel was definitely seeing all kinds of things the gophers were getting away with. Really strange since I normally have liked his commentary. His bias was there all game so stick it
