***OFFICIAL INDIANA AT MINNESOTA BIG TEN TEASE PORTION OF THE SCHEDULE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Under the context that a broken clock is correct twice a day, post #81 "What Should I Expect This Season?" :)

Also great use of bench fouls, Turner 7 min- 4 fouls, Grove 8 min- 4 fouls!
Agreed. Turner is going to be a valuable asset to this team despite what Torvik thinks. He should practice with the volleyball team and defend without ever touching the net. He can body up to Jacobsen, Cluff (PUR) and really help in his minutes. Good passer, rebounder and has a solid shooting range of 3 feet.

I was at the Indiana game in 1972 and last night's game I enjoyed it almost as much. It shows what a team can do with desire, good teamwork and a good coach. I look forward to this new season even though we will ne undermanned.

He needs to go on the Mo Walker diet....dropping 20 pounds would help so much with his agility and stamina.

Sure would be nice if Groves could give them any offense. His high school tapes (i know highlights) show him having 3 point range......right now he doesn't even peek at the basket when he's outside the lane. He was also a good FT shooter....I think that part is mental with him...

Yes, but they provided valuable breather minutes and they rebounded and played defense. They also had only 1 turnover among the three of them in a combined 21 minutes. Pretty good considering the team had 16 turnovers overall.
My point is that it was a really odd stat line, primarily because of the injury situation and short bench.
Definitely not a sustainable game plan, but they gutted that one out given the circumstances.
