Not sure why I'd expect any different play call there from PJ, but man it's frustrating every time.

I don’t hate the idea of getting points there, but why just let the offense stand around and burn a timeout? Why not try to draw them offsides and then call the timeout?

Don’t look now but the Gophers went 17-7 after Tyler’s opening blunder. As for Tyler, you gotta feel for him, but man, you can’t do that. Worse, it was over a meaningless 1-yard difference.
