***OFFICIAL GOPHERS VS NORTHWESTERN IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Have to get the run game going now I don't think coaches feel good about passing it after that last gem. Maybe some short throws?

Slow and steady drive to get to the other side of the field would make me happy. Give the d some rest, and if we score, all the better.

Not feeling real confident here guys

Running it down their throat and we eff it up with a play that has done nothing against good comp all year.

Need to have success with a play several times before the trickery will work...not so good on the reverse.

I consider that a successful drive. Our defense is our calling card and that's no different today. Get a stop here.

It's like Berkley Edwards is becoming a novelty now. Very easy to key on him.

Hoping that Jeff Jones can be a true freshman with that type of shiftiness next year.

Jackson is a heck of a player. Another good stop by the D!

I agree. He has not impressed at all. However, the play calling when he is in there has not been good. They should run a bubble screen with him. He needs to be given some space.

Edwards looks indecisive and quite frankly doesn't look ready yet IMO. Don't force him the ball.

Nice. Jones seems to be open a lot. Mitch needs to key on him more.

I love that Epping's beard is school colored.

If Leidner's first read is open he's fine. If not, that's when things can go wrong. That's not a shot at him necessarily, he's still pretty young, but our playcalling has to protect against that and that's why Limegrover has a pretty tough job.

That frosted flakes commercial with the family playing fb in the basement is just a really bizarre commercial, IMO.

+1

Would love to come out of this with at least a FG. Sitting up 7 would feel a lot better than being within one strike of losing on a blown play.
