Key is to force Siemian to make plays.

Northwestern has really changed its approach from its more free-wheeling offense of the past few years. This Jackson kid is the real deal and they are much more balanced then they have been in the past.
 

Most disappointing plays so far:
-not falling on the fumble
-giving up that first down sack

We're up by 4 though. Although us gopher hole diehards can be forgiven for our glass half empty view.

Why are you surprised by the reaction? You only come here to vent your frustration, not give the team credit when they play well, make big plays, etc. It is okay to be happy once in awhile.
 

May have been said but Leidner is stealing all Cobb's touchdowns.

Definitely agree with those two plays. We had a great chance to go up 21-7 to end the half. The good news is we're leading at half, and Kill hasn't lost here with that being the case. *Crosses fingers*
 

Comforted by the whole '22-0 when leading at the half' bit, but with NW getting the ball to open the 2nd half. ..that first defensive series might be the biggest one of the season.

Some of us travel for work and don't get to sit in front of a computer all weekend. Funny my job is to travel around the country to college football games...I have been 2 NW games this year and they are awful. Don't let the Penn St and Wisconsin games fool you Big Ten is awful.

QB sneak is a safer bet 1 1/2 yards from end zone. In a close game you have to go with the safest play, with the best chance for success. Cobb's best chance is between the five and ten and punching it in from there.
 



Anyone else have their picture stop working?
 

Two 16 play scoring drives by NW in first half...can't have that happen in the second half. Got to get off the field on 3rd down!
