Very impressive half overall. Glad they took a shot at the EZ instead of just settling for the FG. Obviously Leidner needs to make a better throw then that in that situation but again I was glad to see them at least try to get another TD.

Defense is playing very well and the running game is working which is the formula for success for this team. Still want to see more success in the passing game but tough to nitpick when you're up 28 at the half.
 





We have to realize that Leidner is still a RS Soph.

I wonder if Leidner expected Maye to keep going on that INT? Not trying to make excuses, I'm just guessing it was more of a bad read than a bad throw.

I wonder why teams don't do the under throw fly route when you know you have man to man coverage. Although I'd expect Murray to defend that one better, it is still very tough to defend.

Good half. I know we can find things to complain about, but how often are we up 28-0 at the half?
 

You posters complaining about ML get a life. This is how he will learn and learning he is doing. I like everything I'm seeing from the gophers today!!!

Agree with all that. And the one thing I've really liked about this staff since they showed up is the halftime adjustments.

I expect to see a solid 3rd, and a backup filled 4th.

Agree, it would be nice to give the 1's a little more work in the third and then assuming things continue the way they have gone to this point get the starters on the bench and let the backups get some work in.
 



Anthony Lapanta reminds me of the guy I last bought a car from. Miss the guy from last week.

Hopefully that will be the "drive that shall be forgotten" when we look back at this game.
