All in all not a terrible half. The turnover was really bad, but we were fortunate to get a gift when they were driving early as well. Running game has been a great boost,and after a really poor start Leidner made the throws late when he had to. Defense stiffened somewhat the last two drives, but man Illinois made it look so easy early.

He's playing a real bang up game, ain't he? Straight up cost 4 points there. Beyond frustrating. Ugh, just trying to remember all the great moments he's had as a Gopher.

I get the injuries, but the mental mistakes on defense is so frustrating. Guys who are not hurt aren't playing well either. So much bad all around.
 

This defense sucks, starting with the D-line. I know were out Richardson, but even when
he played this line was atrocious. No run D, no pass rush, and now not disciplined to not
jump offsided. What an utter joke.

Who coaches D line?
 

These announcers are idiots.....they actually debated if Illinois would rather have the field goal or a first down from the 16. Of course they took the first down, every coach in the world would take the first down....unreal.

Offense needs to respond after that impressive drive for Illinois....those long drives like that are killers on the defense, especially one as banged up as ours is right now.
 

It was freezing at the stadium...People left in droves at half time haha.
 



We are just depleted.

I can't wait for this season to be over.

Only so much gas in team's tank.

I dunno what it is but we haven't been tackling as good as we usually do this season. Maybe it's the young guys in for all the injured starters.

And after the ball was already snapped on the replay the announcer goes, "It must have happened before that". Why yes, the false start did actually happen before the snap just like every other false start in the history of football.
 

Anyone hear them say Santoso lines up for the 41 yard punt during the first one. And then Proceeds to mention a false start on Moore but discuss the LS and start after the false start.
 

Don't worry Gopher fans, Sid just said we are going to lose so we will win.
