I'm not enjoying Iowa losing mores than I am enjoying this being a REAL STATEMENT GAME. This is *NOT* your typical Minnesota Golden Gophers. I said after the Illinois loss I didn't feel bad because we were clearly the better team. We need to keep the gas on & make a STATEMENT.
 







Just thought I'd point out mitch has a chance to surpass Phil's yardage numbers today. He's already matched the 9 TDS 6 INTs.

Iowa near me leaving. Making plans on where to watch the second half. It's beautiful.
 

Kill will play the percentages. Unless he has a change of hear expect a closer than it should be ending to the game as we protect the lead. I'd like to see some more Leidner.

it's not up to Kill. it's up to Claeys and the defense. Iowa will come out very angry, focused and determined. they will outscore us the second half i predict. the game isn't over yet. Iowa will give us a fight. Kill mentioned it twice in his interview at halftime. the question is will the Gophers get cocky and lose their intensity. it will be an interesting second half. hold on to your hats. i hope we win by 30, but i have a feeling it's going to be closer.
 

I would have liked them to take one or two shots downfield then try the fg if necessary.
