This 2nd half is all about GUTS. Win or lose, I want to see some in the 2nd half.
 

This is where we miss having McNeil. Pitino would be able to sit Hollins down and keep him at the end of the bench for awhile until he grows a pair.
 

This team shows no heart or soul other than Elliott. Next year doesn't look to be any better. I think we can stop worrying about Coach Pitino leaving anytime soon. Embarrassing lack of effort.
 




I normally don't like the automatic benching until the 2nd half when someone picks up their 2nd foul, but Little Dre needed to be taught a lesson there. That was one of the worst fouls I've seen him commit and that's saying something. He's an emotional roller coaster. He made a nice drive and layup and got so fired up he decided to foul someone 70 feet from the basket. The kid just doesn't get it.
 

I honestly don't know if Pitino could do anything different with this group. Really, your guards are beyond bad right now and one of them who I would play in horse right now and another who's brain my fire incorrectly at times to commit fouls chasing a guy from behind. One big guy who has softer hands than my granddaughter, another who spends too much time making stupid faces at the officials and another who seems so lost on defense I don't know if anyone ever showed him how to play.

All I can hope is that Pitino can get some "right" players in here. I think its foolish to question the hire at this point...get rid of a coach after 2 years and see how your recruiting goes.

We are not near as bad as we look and not near as good as we looked playing directional schools in December. We are very Penn St/Purdue/Northwestern like

A loss is unacceptable period. Season is on the line, time to put a half together and save it. There are no silver linings or moral victories here it's win or play meaningless games for two or three months.
 

we can split with penn state.....we have NO clear wins on this schedule.....let's see what adjustments are made at half. Young couch, veteran team we shall see...lets see what this team is made of....
 

Nut cutting time right here. Andre Hollins' legacy at stake. Maybe he's too worried about his girlfriend to give the game his full attention?!
 

Most of us can handle if they play hard and lose. This playing with no effort in the first conference home game is really unacceptable. Pathetic from the top own.

The kid isn't playing well but he might be injured. I'd tone it down a little.
 


If Hollins can't move/defend laterally he can't be in the game.
 

Have the Twolves coaches been over to teach defense to our Gophers?
 

So disappointed in this squad. Should be a peak year with veterans. Next year is a total rebuild.
 

Little Dre has to stop driving into guys that have a foot on him.

Yep. I miss Clem. Don't pull guys until they have 3 fouls in the 1st half or 4 prior to the ~ 8 minute mark.
 

Stolen and then restolen. Great stuff.
 

The # of times we are getting torched down the floor is pathetic. Shame on the players and the coaches.
 

There's the stuff that drives me crazy. Dre driving to nowhere.
